Growing up in White Rock, we were very limited on where we could do our shopping. There wasn’t a lot of options for clothing shops, shoes, music, etc. We had a choice to drive to Langley or Surrey and did so often. I remember when Southpoint opened, heaven!! A Winners right here in our backyard!! Now with the development in Morgan Crossing and Grandview areas I am in shopping nirvana. Everything I could ever need right here on my door step. Not only clothes, but food, services, gyms, and specialty shops. And an Indigo (a bookstore and a play centre all in one!).
Right now I have an amazing townhouse listed for sale in The Brownstones. Across the street from The Shops at Morgan Crossing, walking distance to absolutely everything. I LOVE this place. The Brownstones were built by Adera in 2008 and still carry the balance of the 2-5-10 warranty. The units are well laid out and come equipped with beautiful hardwood floors and stainless appliances. All well and good, but best of all The Brownstones have their own private 500 square foot roof top patio. Huge and beautiful with mountain views and all day long sun. For anyone who loves the outdoors, like me, these decks are perfect for relaxing, entertaining, or container gardening. I could sit out there all day (except my clients might get sick of me!).
I also love the feeling of community in the area. Every time I visit The Brownstones I meet a neighbour I haven’t met before. Such great people, and everyone so active, out with their pets, kids, or partners walking to all the amenities in the area. It’s a great neighbourhood for anyone who loves that urban / downtown vibe, has a young family, downsizing, or just wanting to be in the middle of it all. Perhaps I’ll buy a Brownstone myself!
