Brian's Story
Brian immigrated to Canada in 1968 as a young man with a desire to succeed. Brian previously trained in Manchester England as a graphic artist and with a lot of determination and a natural artistic flare he opened and operated a successful graphic design business for over 20 years. In 1989 Brian sold his business to follow another dream and became a licensed Realtor.
The skills that had served Brian well in his own business helped him to quickly establish a solid and booming Real Estate practice. Brian had long learned to appreciate that customer service and professional advice were the cornerstone to any successful business model and his new clients in Real Estate were impressed. In his first 6 months in business Brian sold 28 homes and established a name for himself as a professional you could rely on. Of note, Brian began in Real Estate when interest rates were a whopping 21% and finding a home for qualified buyers was more challenging than it is today with our low interest rates.
Brian's successful career and proven negotiating skills caught the attention of the owners of the Real Estate company he worked for at the time and he was asked to take over the training program for Realtors new to the business. This is a position that Brian held for 4 years until he transferred to HomeLife Benchmark Realty, where he remains to this day.
